The Role |
Based from their Port Melbourne Head Office, you will bring your balance of creative and analytical skillset as a Social Media Manager from a fashion brand. You will drive marketing activity and create an innovative and dynamic social media plan that capitalizes on their global growth.
Manage and mentor your team to execute planned activity and achieve desired results in line with company standards.
Oversee team planning to ensure relevant and engaging content in conjunction with creating and executing additional marketing activity.
Analyse and make recommendations based on campaigns, social media customer engagement and metrics.
Compile and present weekly analysis and reporting to improve practices, identify trends and trial new initiatives within weekly sales and marketing meetings.
Develop reporting to summarise brand campaigns and to enhance decision making accuracy.
Accountability for the management of ‘on-brand’ initiatives across all touch points.
Management of the end-to-end process of sale events & product launches including Social Media, PR, Influencers and Offline.
Reporting to the Directors and working alongside the e-Commerce Manager and wider team.
Continually research new trends, competitors and strategies and brainstorm innovative and new ideas to drive success and achieve set KPI's.
Develop and implement the annual social media and marketing strategy and plan.
Maintain and continually build the brands media list, marketing and social calendars.
Manage the annual marketing budget to achieve KPI's.
Manage and liaise with external PR agency to build strategies and global expansion.
Liaise regularly with key members in the e-commerce team to provide consistency between the website, eDMs and Social Media.
Develop and pitch upcoming activities to media to secure brand placement and awareness in relevant media outlets.
The Skillset |
3+ years experience within a similar role.
Proven experience of leadership and an engaging and collaborative management style
Intimate understanding of social media platforms and algorithms.
Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis. You can read data easily and readily and make qualified insights from this
Experience and confidence in content creation and editing for social media ie. imagery, video (reels, TikTok etc.)
Highly Creative, innovative and a passion for social media.
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills and copy writing ability.
High attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and use of Adobe Photoshop.
A tertiary qualification in social media and/or marketing is advantageous, but not essential.
