The Brand |

Our client is an internationally renowned leading health and beauty brand with a range of products that focus on beauty from within. With an engaged and driven team that live and breathe their ethos they are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join the team.

The Role |

The role of the Senior Graphic Designer is to provide conceptual and finished designs that meet brand standards and marketing communication needs. In addition, working closely with the CEO, the role will assist the marketing team in the day-to-day creative communication.

  • Collaborate with the CEO/Creative Director and Marketing Manager in the development of creative concepts.

  • Aligns with Marketing Manager, Ecom Manager and Content Manager on asset creative and publishes to CEO/CD for approval of design concepts.

  • Aligned to the brand guidelines, establishes concepts and design direction for on and offline projects/ brand materials (marketing, retail execution, PR, digital, print, corporate presentations, employee materials), maintaining a strong and consistent brand image that delivers on commercial objectives.

  • Develop the visual brand ensuring translation of the brands direction to all art design work.

  • Develop, maintain and disseminate brand and visual imagery for global use.

  • Produces graphic design and materials in line with the brief and according to brand guidelines.

  • Provides day to day graphic design support

  • Provides innovative, strategic and high-quality graphic design services

  • Creates finished artwork for print (including but not limited to) newsprint/ press, magazine, packaging, brochures, press ads, print ads etc.

  • Crafts finished artwork to specification for online & digital (including but not limited to, website graphics, eDMs, display ads, rich media, social media etc).

  • Designs finished artwork for POS collateral and materials for key accounts, spas and salons.

  • Partners with Marketing Executive to formulate marketing and campaign creative across all touch points, e.g. digital, social, print, wholesale assets, PR etc.

  • Manipulates, converts or adjusts images to achieve the desired effect, such as low/ high-end retouching including colour balance, colour conversion, composite working, and image extension.

  • Manages work and traffic flow in adherence with creative turnaround timelines and project deadlines.

  • Organises workload according to campaign timelines as outlined in Asana & department go-to-market processes.

The Skillset |

  • Formal qualification in graphic design.

  • 5 + years’ graphic design experience either in-house or agency.

  • Understands health, wellness and beauty and is able to interpret trends and leverage these from a marketing perspective.

  • Advanced level in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

  • Strong conceptual designer with the ability to communicate clearly, while also maintaining depth in their work.

  • Strong and flexible skills in print and a strong understanding web and digital design.

  • Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology particularly as applied to web-based applications.

  • Familiar with other software applications – e.g. Asana, Klaviyo, Dropbox
