The Brand |
Our client is an Australian wellness brand that is a leader in skincare and ingestible’s. As they look to continue to grow locally and internationally we are looking for a senior level leader to drive continued improvement and brand awareness globally. With wholesale retail, eCommerce partners, a strong eCommerce channel and stocked in over 50,000 salons – this is a key leadership role working with the Founder and the GM.
The Role |
We are searching for a Head of Marketing with a unique profile who has expertise in branded marketing and an awareness of how to drive brand growth while honouring their omni-channel approach, and leadership skillset to lead a talented and engaged marketing team of 4, along with strong external PR support. The role is responsible for driving brand presence, marketing strategy and revenue across the AU, USA and UK markets. Beauty experience is essential in this role.
The role will be directly reporting to the CEO and Creative Director and will also collaborate with Sales, Finance NPD and Operations to ensure that the marketing strategies align with overall business strategy and key business goals. You will be data driven, digitally savvy and an exceptional marketing leader ready to drive the business into their next phase of growth and branding.
P&L Accountability - Owning and driving the P&L for the marketing function
Social, Content and Creative – Manage the overall direction, execution and investment in content, social and influencers to optimise our community engagement.
Managing Trade Marketing - work with internal resources to manage trade marketing and assist wholesale leaders deliver growth for their accounts.
Develop Marketing strategies with the CEO to drive sales, revenue and profitable growth.
Reporting And Analytics - Overall marketing budget management, forecasting and KPI control, ensuring effective measurement and insights are in place for all digital and partner marketing activities.
The Skillset |
Extensive marketing knowledge and expertise across an elevated brand offering, within the beauty space with a sound understanding of eComm
Experience working with a small Founder led organisation ideally with key channels in wholesale and eCommerce with a strong understanding of working with both local and international department stores and key account partners
Keen awareness of marketing guidelines for beauty products as they relate to regulatory bodies
Highly analytical and data driven – Advanced experience with media negotiations to amplify the media budget.
Extensive experience as a marketing senior leader
Solid experience developing retail and brand campaigns to drive customer engagement, revenue and profit.
Understanding of the full customer journey, from search, to website/in-store, to purchase.
Relevant marketing qualifications.
Proven success in leading, developing, implementing marketing strategies within a controlled budget environment.
Proven problem-solving ability.
Exceptional inter-personal, planning, management, and communication skills.
