The Talent Mill is searching for our next Recruitment Partner to join our dream team! The Role |

Due to growth and demand in HQ based recruitment - This role will partner with our existing HQ Recruitment team and manage selected Head Office vacancies across Australia and New Zealand, in a full-time permanent capacity. This role requires a talented and dynamic individual who has a genuine passion and understanding of the luxury and designer fashion industry. You will drive recruitment methodology and best practise with your comprehensive understanding of the industry and drivers for professional development.  

  • Daily marketing activity to build your personal brand as a trusted Recruitment Partner

  • Proactive reach outs – building up talent pools of fashion, luxury, and eCommerce candidates

  • Account Management of client base – building relationship through key touchpoints with a focus on regular, transparent communication building your brand as an authentic and intentional Recruiter

  • Maintenance and upload of candidate information on JobAdder – regular talent update to maintain data integrity 

  • Posting Job advertisements – identifying the most relevant platform to connect with professionals

  • Ethical and comprehensive interviewing of candidates to understand their career trajectory and career goals

  • Successfully matching candidates to roles and companies – you will showcase a strong sense of understanding of brand alignment and role accountability  

  • Shortlisting candidates – alongside of prompt engaging and disengaging of candidates

  • Offer negotiation and influencing to successfully fill roles

  • Ad-hoc administration and events

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane – you love working with people, you are intuitive and a natural problem solver. You are flexible, dynamic and are known for your ability to drive results and create momentum. You understand how to connect with stakeholders and your influencing skills are second to none. And you thrive working at pace on a breadth of work. No two days are the same, and your ability to intuitively prioritise and effectively communicate will be legendary.

  • Ideally you are a Recruiter with a strong background in fashion/luxury/designer brands however significant professional experience in a retail/fashion business in a Head Office role would also be considered

  • Clear understanding of head office roles and career pathways – either in Design, Wholesale, Marketing or eCommerce  

  • You are highly organised, tenacious, and resilient – giving up is not part of your vocabulary, and you are able to bounce back quickly

  • A natural people connector, you are warm, naturally inquisitive and empathetic – you naturally attract people to you, are ethical, trustworthy, and highly principled – in short you understand the value of reputation

  • A confident and articulate communicator who is able to open conversations with candidates and the self-awareness to tailor your approach and have some challenging conversations – you believe that its more important to be honest constructively and respectfully than to avoid a conversation

  • Self-starter, adaptable and agile - you will operate with high levels of autonomy and independence – and you take pride in sourcing solutions

  • You are your word – you understand how to set and manage expectations and deliver on a deadline once set

  • Excellent time management skills – you can manage multiple priorities and are disciplined in your methods for holding yourself accountable.
