Production & Development Coordinator

The Brand |
Stunning Sydney based elevated Womenswear brand. Amazing opportunity to work closely with and support across Design and Production with Wholesale range development, production and QA tasks, trim procurement and logistics. This role will be responsible for but not limited to developing technical drawings, maintaining their illustration library, creating pro-type and bulk spec packs, following and updating the critical path, purchase orders and coordinating sample ranges.

The Role |

 Wholesale Range Development

  • Creation of Proto-Type & Bulk Tech Spec packs for production

  • Liaising with the Designer & the Pattern Maker, ensuring their requirements are clearly communicated to factories

  • Develop consistent & precise technical drawings, whilst maintaining illustration library (Illustrator)

  • Ordering & coordinating sample ranges

  • Assist with Sales Collateral completion (InDesign)

Production/ Manufacturing

  •  Distribute purchase orders to factories

  • Order markers, ensuring yields & cutting instructions are adhered to

  • Assist Production Manager with all production requirements 

  • Daily updating of Production critical path

  • Quality Control of all Pre-Production Samples, communicate & resolve issues with factories  

Trim Procurement and Logistics

  • Source, Negotiate & Track the purchasing of all bulk trims (zippers, buttons, fusing, swing tags, labels, stickers)

  • Manage logistics of trims, ensuring bulk quantities are ordered and distributed to meet production timelines

ERP Data Entry

  • Build/create all garment BOMs in Manufacturing ERP

  • Create product on Wholesale Sales B2B site

  • Prepare data for Web use; Write Style Descriptions, collate style measurements, create digital swatches.


 The Skillset |

  • Experience with Computer Aided Design - Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop  

  • Diploma or Degree in Design or related field 

  • Ability to prioritise and juggle competing priorities

  • Ability to deliver against strict deadlines. 

  • Enjoy being hands on, reactive and tactical in solving problems. 

  • Meticulous with detail 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
