Global Marketing Manager

 The Brand |

This haircare and styling brand is one of the fastest growing beauty brands globally – and is based right here in South Melbourne! As they grow in the USA, UK, EUROPE and UAE, stocked in over 5,000 + stores globally - they are looking for an experienced Global Marketing Manager to join their fast-growing team.

 

The Role |

  • Develop and implement cohesive global marketing & brand strategies and campaigns, maintaining consistent global branding and visual identity across various marketing channels including Trade, PR, Events, Print, Media & Digital.

  • Work closely with the Content & Partnerships team to ensure all marketing collateral required is delivered for all digital, print, and retail trade.

  • Ecommerce/Digital: Oversee all website & EDM/SMS campaigns and work with external paid ads team to ensure ecommerce marketing campaigns are aligning with market demand.

  • Work with website development team to ensure all digital content and websites are up to date.

  • Trade Marketing: Work with global wholesale retailers to ensure the brand are effectively participating in trade marketing in store/retail digital campaigns with an ROI, and support the wholesale retailers for any marketing related queries.

  • Events/PR: Oversee all organisation of global brand activations, working with internal and external teams to project manage from start to launch ensuring we meet all deadlines.

  • Work closely with Graphics Design team to ensure marketing materials and packaging, alongside any graphics required for events/trade marketing and digital.

  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact and ROI across events, print, media, digital/ecommerce and socials.


The Skillset |

  • Minimum 5+ years experience working in a similar role, with global responsibility

  • Experience in managing, and executing PR activations and events

  • At least 5 years experience leading marketing teams and passionately helping others to develop and progress.

  • Significant experience and success in launching and building marketing strategies at a global scale, a burning passion for driving innovation and customer-centric marketing strategies and be a highly collaborative, committed and engaging leader.

  • You are hands on – with a can do attitude - roll up your sleeves and lead from the front

  • Understand marketing campaign timelines and production deadlines.

  • Comfortable with working and communicating to international time zone requirements; and open to periodic domestic and international travel for brand, distributor and industry events and meetings.

  • Ideally has worked in an agency environment and worked with events management.

  • Proven experience in marketing strategy, in a fast moving and global business, ideally B2B and B2C e-commerce.

  • A deep understanding of the channels and methods to grow a brand following and enjoy being involved in both brand strategy and implementation.

  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills and background.

  • Proven track record leading notable brand strategy, campaigns and activations.

  • Experience in managing budgets and tracking spend effectiveness.

 The Offer |
