This incredible Melbourne-born fast growing Premium cycling apparel brand was established in 2014 with the goal to propel cycling forward. They seamlessly merge aesthetics and performance through their design process in their cycling apparel. They are bound by their love of art, design, fitness and community. Sustainability is at the very core of what they do!
Due to growth we seek a new Designer to bring their understanding of the cycling industry and experience in performance apparel design to drive innovation and design world class cycling apparel from ideation and concepting through to prototyping.
The Role |
Engaging in ahead of season concepting and sourcing work
Understanding their product roadmap, participating in the Seasonal Roadmap Review meeting prior to seasonal design kick off.
Building on creative direction provided by their CCO and interpreting seasonal design briefs provided by their Product Manager to create compelling concepts for allocated product stories.
Sourcing and selecting all fabrics, trims, finishes, embellishment applications for each design, and taking ownership over each style's bill of materials.
Sketching & CAD’s.
Presenting concepts, range boards and all fabrics and trims at concept reviews and buy meetings.
Working alongside a Graphic Designer to prepare production ready artwork for branding and embellishments.
Partnering with Senior Garment Technicians on complex construction and garment finishes, and attending fittings to drive design changes throughout the prototyping process.

You will be an experienced Designer - Apparel who has demonstrated ability ideally in performance cycling, sporting, or technical apparel.
