What’s In My Bag?

Ah, the wonders of a woman's handbag—home to her best-kept secrets and a treasure trove of everything she might ever need! Our Retail Recruitment Partner, Sharna, is giving us a peek into the essentials she always carries in her bag.

You can never be too prepared in the world of retail recruitment. So having a work bag that is practical and stylish is a bonus. I found a Prene bag always fits the brief for that.

One style I have on high rotation is The Alder Bag in taupe from the Prene x Rozalia Russian collab. I've also been told my bags are somewhat of a Mary Poppins bag, What wont I find in there?

What you will find in my current work bag:

Technology

  • Laptop

  • Laptop charger

  • Airpods - a must!

  • Earphones with a cord - I like to carry both! Especially when it comes to my laptop.

  • Portable charger for IPhone - for when im not near a power point!

Stationary

  • All sorts of highlighters, pens and post it notes.

  • A note book - It's always better to hand write notes. You are more present this way. Especially when interviewing someone in person, it's breaks down a barrier between them and yourself so I make sure to keep one o hand.

  • Snacks - Being on the go, it's always handy to have snacks at the ready. I'm also a coeliac- so gluten free snacks are a must!

  • A diary - I love a diary, especially one that gives me a weekly overview (Kiki K you continue to deliver on great diaries! Thank you!) It helps me to plan and prioritise my week and keep myself accountable to what I need to get done.

Bits and bobs

  • Tissues

  • A comb

  • Band-aids

  • Sanitizer

  • Glasses wipes
