Production Coordinator

The Brand |

Our client requires no introduction – with sophisticated product categories across evening, bridal, and RTW – they have thriving channels across retail, Ecomm, and wholesale and recent international expansion. We are seeking an experienced production coordinator to join the team!

The Role |

Working closely in communication with the Production Manager and Design room team - this role is critical to creating quality garments and a seamless process for a team to work together to achieve a high level of efficiency and contribution to the success of the business.  

  • Oversee the care and maintenance of stock at warehouse(s).  

  • Check and monitor all products imported into the Company’s warehouse for manufacturing defects and /or breaches of quality requirements. 

  • Advise Team of any potential risks and where necessary and work together with the relevant teams on suggested corrective actions and solutions. 

  • Manage repairs process for any items not passing QC Inspection 

  • Managing overall quality control process, including offshore inspections, garment inspection reports and seasonal quality reports to suppliers 

  • Liaise with overseas manufacturers to manage bulk production process for all products  

  • Fabric testing for creation of care labels and management of foreign language labels into the appropriate styles 

  • In conjunction with Production Manager & Garment Tech assessing size sets and shipment samples for final shipping approval 

  • Monitor delivery schedule to ensure timeline dates are maintained. 

  • Liaise with Suppliers and Logistics Partners to manage stock movements and deliveries to appropriate warehouses to meet all required deadlines 

  • General admin assistance and support to Production including accessory purchasing and allocation to suppliers. 

  • Create and update product information in CIN 7 


The Skillset |

  • An understanding of garment construction  

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) 

  • Experience handling high-end product  

  • The ability to work to a timeline and adhere to deadlines 

  • The ability to work autonomously and have a high level of organisation 

  • The ability to follow quality systems and procedures 

  • Experience with hand sewing and or alteration techniques is a plus but not essential
