We are sourcing a Makeup Artist for their new store located in Canberra. This is a 25 to 35-hour part-time position, including weekdays, weekends, and some late nights.  

The Role |

As a Makeup Artist, you will create a unique and memorable experience for each client at every moment and every point of sale. Combining a commercial mindset with a passion for the client and the product, the Makeup Artist contributes to the brand's image and works closely with the management team to deliver outstanding service.

  • Maintain curiosity and proactivity in self-learning to enhance your career and the learning culture of the business.  

  • Surpass client expectations by creating personalised experiences. 

  • Share beauty and makeup tips to educate and inspire clients. 

  • Proactively recruit and retain clients to help build a diverse client base for the business.

  • Manage stock at the point of sale, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policy

The Skillset |

  • Qualifications in Makeup as a Makeup Specialist/Artist, along with several years of experience working one one-on-one with clients.  

  • Customer Service experience preferred from a fast-paced boutique or department store environment.  

  • Excellent knowledge of current Makeup trends and the ability to share your knowledge with clients and your team. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish emotional connections with clients. 

  • The ability to work across a roster that supports the boutique trading hours.
