The Role |
Reporting to the founder your overall responsibility will be to support and drive the business through its next growth phase by developing and executing on strategic initiatives focused on Profit, Revenue, and increasing operational and cost efficiencies for a reputable fashion brand.
Creating, executing and implementing the strategy to drive growth and scale with continuous improvements, efficiencies and innovation- Driving growth across DTC channels to maximise market share and increase online sales with a key focus on, Australia, US, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Team leadership. Operational and people management. Performance reviews and OKR set up. Encourage and support a multicultural environment.
Commercial leadership. Contributing financial and operational expertise to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Overall Financial accountability - Assist Founder and Head of Finance by overseeing budgets, forecasting, KPI’S for each department and identify areas for improvement/ review.
Short term and long-term planning. Oversee key areas of control for monthly P&L management, retail, supply chain, business operational efficiency, production, expenses and a focus on cashflow management.
Lead both large and small operational projects to support business priorities.
Assist in creating financial budgets for each department and their planned operational improvements
Manage external communication agreements and contracts (freight, rentals, sales agents, PR, Major Department stores, all wholesale)
Build out wholesale Distribution strategy alongside Global Sales Manager and support negotiations with majors and Sales agents.
The Skillset |
We are seeking a candidate with strong operational and commercial business acumen preferably with fashion industry experience however transferable skills from other industries will be considered.
Assumed commercial qualifications
Strong financial and commercial business acumen
Retail knowledge and experience preferred but not essential
5+ years of relevant business experience in a relatable industry.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong strategic acumen, ability to identify, prioritise and deliver high impact initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent business judgement, strong fact-based decision making and a practical sensibility.
Strong communication skills with a focus on being fair, clear and simple.
Willingness to continuously improve, develop and understand industry best practice.
Highly organised and effective time management.
Interpersonal skills, energetic, passionate, proactive and trustworthy
Offshore production process knowledge and experience beneficial
